The Colchester Walleye Derby is the largest single day Walleye Derby in Southern Ontario with prizes totalling over $5,500.

Perch dinner for the 2011 derby was sponsored by the Ontario Commercial Fisheries’ Association (OCFA) and LaNassa Foods with proceeds to the Harrow Colchester South Lions community projects.
The Kinsmen hosted the hospitality tent for the 19th year including food and beverages. Entertainment for the crowd followed the derby awards and prizes.
Our Colchester Walleye Derby includes fishermen from far and near including London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Goderich, Michigan, Ohio and our local Essex County.
Colchester was proclaimed The Walleye Capital of Canada at the 2007 Colchester Walleye Derby
The Harrow Colchester South Lions Club is proud to organize and sponsor the Colchester Walleye Derby. The Harrow Colchester South LionsClub receives all proceeds from this not for profit event which benefits the local community and the Harrow Colchester South Lions projects.
